Owner John J. Cox is a graduate of Nashville Technical and Career College in Nashville, TN. While in college, John had the opportunity to co-op with Donelson/AC Service, the largest and most reputable heating and air-conditioning company in Tennessee. In 1989 he received a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. John ranked top of his graduating class when he then received his Master Mechanical Engineering license. After holding positions within Nashville’s most respected HVAC companies, John relocated to Kentucky. He became a certified Master HVAC Contractor in the state of Kentucky in 1998, as well as a Master Electrician in Kentucky, and an Electrical Contractor in 2000. Climate Solutions was established in Danville, Kentucky in 2000.
Co-Owner, Tammi (Igo) Cox has her roots in the Montgomery County area. Tammi’s father, Bobby Igo, was a well respected businessman in the Mt. Sterling area, with his own tradition of honesty and hard work — something he passed down to his children. The Cox family has taken these values and passed them down to their four children: Ashley, Ethan, Tyler, and McKenna.
In 2006 Climate Solutions relocated from Danville, KY, to make its new home in Mt. Sterling. John, with Tammi by his side, opened the new location of Climate Solutions. The opening of our Mt. Sterling location was established with one thing in mind: a desire to provide a quality product, and to take care of our customers with the honesty and respect they deserve. Climate Solutions strives to provide all of these services to our customers in a way that is honoring to the God they serve.
